1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of TinyLore, a local-first pet journal published under the name AEE Studio by an independent developer. By using the app, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
2. What TinyLore does — and does not do
TinyLore helps you keep pet profiles, signals, your observations and contexts, shared rituals, moments and Little Things responses. Basic and Advanced Insights summarize information you entered.
TinyLore is a personal journaling and reflection tool. It does not translate animal language, continuously monitor your pet, automatically detect emotions, diagnose illness, provide medical treatment or guarantee an interpretation of behaviour. Its insights are not veterinary advice. Contact a qualified veterinarian about health concerns.
3. Your content and responsibility
You retain ownership of the notes, photos, videos, sounds and other content you add. Add only material you are entitled to use, respect other people's privacy and use the app in accordance with applicable law.
You decide whether and where to share a card or export. Once content is sent to another service or person, TinyLore cannot control that copy or delete it for you.
4. Local storage, export and data loss
TinyLore stores journal content locally without a TinyLore account or proprietary cloud-sync service. Device loss, deletion, uninstalling, failed storage or an incomplete operating-system restore can cause data loss. Platform backups may include some data, but TinyLore does not guarantee restoration.
You can export eligible journal records and available media as an unencrypted ZIP. The ZIP is a copy for you to keep; TinyLore cannot currently import it or restore your journal from it. Export is available for eligible user-owned data regardless of Free or Pro status.
5. Free and TinyLore Pro
Free includes one editable pet profile, unlimited supported signals, observations, rituals and moments with their supported attachments, Basic Insights, 24 everyday Little Things questions and every implemented share card. The current product design has no advertising.
TinyLore Pro is designed as a one-time lifetime purchase, not a recurring subscription. Its implemented benefits are multiple pet profiles, Advanced Insights and 24 additional special Little Things questions. Features that are not built or enabled are not included merely because they appear in future plans.
If Pro is offered for purchase, its price and availability will be shown by the relevant app store. We do not promise that every future feature will automatically be included with the current Pro entitlement.
6. If Pro access becomes unavailable
Your existing records are not automatically deleted. One permitted Free pet remains editable. Other existing pets remain available in the supported read-only state: they can be viewed, shared and deleted, but not changed until Pro is active again. Advanced Insights and new special questions remain unavailable while Pro is inactive.
You can still export eligible user-owned journal data. Loss of Pro is an access change, not a journal deletion.
7. Purchases, Restore Purchase and refunds
Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under the relevant store terms. Restore Purchase concerns the Pro entitlement associated with the same store platform and applicable store account. It does not restore your SQLite journal, photos, videos, sounds or observations. An Apple purchase does not transfer to Google Play, or the other way around.
Refund availability and processing are governed by the store and mandatory consumer law. TinyLore does not set or guarantee a refund period. Purchase and restore availability depends on the relevant store and TinyLore's release configuration.
8. Availability, changes and intellectual property
We may maintain, improve, change or discontinue parts of the app, subject to applicable law and mandatory rights. Availability depends on your device, operating system and store services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or support for every future device.
The TinyLore name, design, original text and software belong to AEE Studio, the developer or their licensors. Your permission to use the app does not transfer ownership of them.
9. Consumer rights, changes and contact
Use of the app is also subject to the applicable App Store or Google Play terms. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights, statutory remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
